Last of the remaining RHD Saab 9-3 convertibles for sale in the UK
Saab Parts UK has successfully secured the sale of the last remaining 26 right-hand drive MY12 Saab 9-3 Convertibles for UK customers.
The Convertibles have now arrived in the country and will be available to buy through Saab’s national network of 87 Authorised Repairers. Hand-finished by a dedicated and loyal workforce of Saab employees based at Saab dealership, ANA, in Trollhättan, these cars will carry a sentimental value for Saab fans around the UK and are the last and best equipped examples of Saab’s Convertible lineage after 25 distinguished years.
The Saab 9-3 Convertible range was significantly revitalised with the MY12 line-up, featuring refreshed exterior and interior styling and fitted with a range of more powerful, fuel and emissions efficient engines than its predecessors.

I’m going crazy trying to find one of these for sale near me. My grandfather had one when I was little and I loved it… Every time I see one (rare) it brings back really good memories!
Victor Muller to participate in the Mille Miglia 2012 with a 1956 Saab 93
Victor Muller will participate in the 2012 Mille Miglia, according tot he list of participants on the Mille Miglia website. The information and pictures shows it is a 1956 Saab 93 in a dark red color with race number 336 and license plate AL-41-42.
The 2012 Mille Miglia will take place May 17-20 so it is only a few days away. The site shows there are two Mullers in the race. The second Muller is most likely Victor’s son as it was in last year’s race. Good luck!

Scott-Eklund Racing complete first Saab 9-3 wheels-down test in France
Dreux, France - Tuesday, March 27, 2012: Scott-Eklund Racing successfully completed its first wheels-down pre-season test at Le Circuit de Rallycross de Dreux in France on Tuesday, March 27, ahead of the teams’ debut Global RallyCross Championship season.
Lead driver and Team Principal Andy Scott took both 2012 GRC-spec Saab 9-3 two-litre 16 Valve powerhouses rigorously through their paces, covering over 50 laps of the French circuit without a single glitch.
Running in the glorious sunshine in ambient temperatures of up to 24ºC, the Scott-Eklund Racing crew, led by rallycross stalwart and team Technical Director Per Eklund, seamlessly transitioned the cars through each installation phase before completing tyre cycles.
With the 600bhp Saabs responding well to technical input, the team gleaned an encouraging measure of performance on base settings and Scott turned up the pace to set continually improving lap times throughout the six hour session.
